NIJ PGD Student, Badeggi Aims to Horn Her Journalsim Skills

A student of Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) Aisha Shuaibu Badeggi at the Nigeria Institute of Journalism, (NIJ), Ogba, Lagos has said her academic sojourn in the institution is aimed at improving on her journalism skills.

Shuaibu Badeggi who hailed from Niger, stated this in an interview during one of the lecturer Dr. Qasim Akinreti assignment, relived her experiences on how she cut her teeth in broadcasting, saying she joined the fray during her undergraduate days at Usmanu Danfodio University, Sokoto.

"It has been amazing, my reason for coming to NIJ is to learn, unlearn and relearn basically everything regarding journalsim." She said. 

The PGD student who fondly called 'radio girl' serves  as the general manger at Badeggi radio station, 90.1 FM in Niger state before seeking to pursue her diploma in Mass communication, shared that she is passionate about doing children programme.

She currently anchor the kids zone at the institution's radio Pen Radio.
